Human Resources Associate – Bilingual

SUMMARY

The Human Resources Associate at WWA will assist international students and young professionals with their employment goals and career development needs worldwide. Under the job search component, customers would access 1:1 assistance in career clarification, market identification, resume/cover letter/LinkedIn enhancement, interview and employment preparation. The Human Resources Associate may also help in developing and maintaining relationships with employers to identify internship and employment opportunities for students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate structured and individualized on-line coaching support for conducting successful job search to individuals
  • Provide career exploration, identification and clarification of interests, abilities, skills, education and experience in relation to short and long term career and employment goals in a group or individual setting
  • Provide analysis and improvement plans to client for reaching their career goals
  • Preparation of job search tools including resumes and cover letters, interview and job search strategies, school and training record
  • Support mentoring and mocking during the job search process
  • Assist in matching/referring individuals with right opportunities, according to their skills and interests with work opportunities

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess a strong background and education in Career Coaching and/or Human Resources (specifically recruitment). An equivalent combination of skills, education, and experience will be considered
  • Must be able to speak Mandarin fluently
  • 2-3 years of practical experience in a related capacity, i.e. Career Advisor or Employment Counselor
  • Client-service oriented; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to the journey of new immigrants/students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, database applications and internet research.
  • Flexible and ready to adapt to changing circumstances within a multi-tasking oriented work environment
  • Awareness of labour market trends, fluctuations, high-demand occupations, and employment opportunities.

Relationship Manager

Summary

The Relationship Manager is responsible for developing partnerships with mentors and employers to build partnerships that benefit WinWin clients. This includes working closely with the career coaching staff to ensure the service reflects client needs, abilities and career goals. The successful candidate will possess the ability to build strong relationships with mentors and employers across a variety of industries and verticals, adding to WinWin’s network.

Responsibilities

  • Market WinWin Talent Network services to target mentors/employers in employment market and create internship/full time opportunities by: email, cold calls, meeting and any other method deemed appropriate.
  • Maintain a diverse job bank, keeping all information current and well organized
  • Maintaining online marketing activities including job opportunity updates, newsletters, Wechat/LinkedIn updates etc to increase social media exposure.
  • Monitor and maintain regular contact with employers to encourage successful participant job retention and new positions
  • Conduct regular evaluations with all clients and employers to ensure excellent customer service
  • Strategize with other team members to continually improve processes and increase employment statistics

Qualification

  • University Degree and 1-5 years of experience in sales, marketing and /or job development, preferably experience in recruitment industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to build lasting professional relationships with employers
  • Strong mindset in sales/marketing
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Resilient and result-driven, able to work with minimum supervision
  • Experience with online and/or social media marketing is a strong asset
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Mandarin skills are strongly preferred
